OUR SPONSORS:

The Ski Apache Disabled Skiers' Program has been locally supported from the beginning. It would be nice to receive outside support, as we support ANYBODY from ANY COUNTRY regardless of financial limitations.

PLEASE! We are a very simple and very straight forward organization, with a tight budget. Each year the community comes together and volunteers and/or donates items to our Silent Auction, This is our biggest fund-raising event. Others listed below make direct donations while others organize events like the Ski Run Road Challenge, raising a considerable amount for our program.

Times are tough, and we understand SADSP is not the only charitable organization supported by our current sponsors. Our supporters are the greatest for all their hard work year after year. It's time we ask for a little outside help!

We need to have more training days, but we are limited by our financial situation! Safety is our #1 concern and getting everybody on the same page and used to working with each other on equipment can only improve our ability to get it right.

Our biggest expense is payroll for professional coaches and insurance.

What we really need is support from outside sources. If you are able, please, contact us!

Ski Apache supports SADSP wholehearted by furnishing our room, utilities and making staff available to help with our projects. They donate season passes and prizes for our fund raisers. Disabled skiers with our program, get half price tickets & children's are free. Experienced skiers just get a half price ticket, if they don't need lessons.

The lift operators go out of their way to make it safe for our students! A Big THANKS to Ski Apache!

Southwest Airlines always (every other year) donates two passes (anywhere they fly!) to our Silent Auction.

Thanks To: Roswell Independent School District  for fund raising efforts in fall of 2010,

Alto Lakes Tennis Association held a very successful fund raising tennis tournament the summer of 2011, RAR (that's Raise a Racket Tennis Tournament organized by the ALTA

A Really Really BIG THANKS, to ALL the people & business who help with our program in so many ways, making connections, pounding the pavement, spending time and money to make our program a success

Ski Shop Recognition:

Ruidoso’s ski shops ALL support our program through equipment donations, referrals, and good will.  SADSP would like to recognize the following ski shops for “above the call of duty” in helping SADSP survive and progress:

Alto Ski Shop: Don Damron and Jody Damron have been huge supporters of SADSP for years. Serving as officers, directors, vital help with our Silent Auction. The ski shop is a fun place to visit and is often the gathering place we use to discuss matters.

Wild West Ski Shop: The crew at Wild West provides skis and snowboards for many of the programs students and teachers who could not otherwise afford rentals. Karen works on the hill with us and organized the Silent Auction for 09/10, season. Ron has supplied us with many things we don’t have enough of.

Ski Ruidoso: Danny Wimberly outfitted over 50 skiers from the Roswell School District “School to Ski” life skills program. The new Ski Ruidoso has moved next door to the “old” Ski Ruidoso (more room!). If we were to set these kids up on the mountain, it would create huge delays. Thanks All!
